well lots of you know this already ,, but im going to share it anyway ,, i suggest  for all of psp user to upgrade to 5.50 GEN B2 for better result i already try this on 5.00m33-6 but it does not work sometimes it works but it always hang,,, here are the steps its so simple even your youngest brother can do this hahaha…

Using UMDGEN v4.0
1) Make a backup copy of your ISO
2) Extract the PPF patch from the RAR file
3) Open the the ISO in UMDGEN
4) Click the Apply PPF button and find the PPF file
5) Click the Apply button (On the window that say “PPF Version 3″)
6) Once done, save your work choose .cso or .iso i suggest use .iso
7) Copy the ISO to your memory stick.

8)Then run and dance and Enjoy playing the games

Using PPF-o-Matic:
1) Make a backup copy of your ISO (apply the patch to the newly made copy)
2) Extract PPF-o-Matic and the patch for the game into the same folder.
3) Open PPF-o-Matic and click the disk icon at the end of the ISO box
4) Browse and find your encrypted untouched ISO file.
5) Click the disk at the end of the patch and find the PPF patch.
6) Click APPLY and then click ok at the message box to ‘burn to disc’.
(this program was made for PSX games, so ignore the ‘burn message’)
7) Close PPF-o-Matic by clicking the quit button.
8}Copy the ISO file to your memory stick and test if it works.

and for the firmware i will also give the link here for those who would like to upgrade to 5.50 GEN B2,, first you need to install 5.50 GEN build 4 just put the update folder to PSP/GAME the go to your psp go to xmb and run the application be sure your battery is 78% i suggest use your ac supply while doing this to avoid bricking of your psp.. after you install 5.50 GEN build 4 ,, install the 5.50 GEN B2 in your psp just put the update folder at the PSP/GAME and run it again same procedure  as installing GEN BUILD4…..

I’ve been addict in upgrading firmware in my iphone and i’m a bit exited when i heard that 3.0 and 3.01 are out already so i immediately upgrade my firmware to 3.0 ,, firmware upgrading are success ,, a few days i realize my iphone become slower and battery lifetime become less,, and every time i charge my phone i notice that the unit become so hot so i thought it was a hardware problem,,, but luckily i have a friend who told me that its not your hardware its your firmware,, im a bit shock!!! but all the problem i been experiencing in my unit he know,, such as laggy texting , games, and springboard,, he know that my battery drain much faster and when im charging  my iphone becomes hot wifi signal becomes weak and network signal becomes weak,, so i decided to downgrade my unit to the stable firmware 2.2.1 and poof back to normal … so i learn that before upgrading try to search and read about the comment of the new firmware….

These are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPhone 3.0 iPhone firmware using RedSn0w for Windows.

This tutorial can be used to jailbreak before applying the UltraSn0w unlock.

Step One
Create a folder on your desktop called Pwnage

Download RedSn0wfrom

and place it in the Pwnage folder. Likewise, download the latest 3.0 firmware from below and place it in the same folder.

Download BootLoaders 3.9 and 4.6 from here

Extract the RedSn0w zip file to the Pwnage folder.

Step Two
Connect your iPhone to the computer and launch iTunes.

Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left. Now hold down shift and click the Restore button. Restore is preferred as it won’t create any wasted space on your iPhone.

Navigate to the Pwnage folder on your desktop and select the firmware ipsw. Click the Open button to continue.


Step Three
Once iTunes has finished updating your iPhone to the desired firmware you may launch redsnw0w.exe from the Pwnage folder on your desktop.

Step Four
Once RedSn0w opens click the Browse button

Step Five
Select the firmware ipsw we placed in the Pwnage folder on our desktop then click Open

Step Six
Once the firmware has been verified click the Next button to continue.

Step Seven
Make sure Cydia is selected and click the Next button.

Step Eight
Please plug your iPhone into the computer and make sure its OFF then click the Next button

Step Nine
RedSn0w will now guide you through the steps to get into DFU mode.

Hold down both the Home button and the Power button for 10 seconds.

Release the Power button and continue holding the Home button until RedSn0w detects the device.

Step Ten
Your iPhone will now reboot

Step Eleven
RedSn0w will then begin uploading the new RAM Disk.

Step Twelve
Once this is complete you will be notified that RedSn0w is done. Click the Finish button.
When your iPhone finishes reboot (5 minutes or so). It will be jailbroken with Cydia on the SpringBoard.

NOTE:

this procedure will only unlock iphone 2g and will only jailbreak itouch and iphone 2G and iphone 3G/3Gs.. iphone 3G and 3Gs will not unlocked in this procedure…

5.03 GEN-A Custom Firmware loaded and ready to go

Break open the bubbly as we now finally have Custom Firmware on PSP-3000’s!! Thanks to GENyUS, PSPGen and Davee’s ChickHEN. With the use of ChickHEN R2 were able to load up into a full 5.03 GEN-A Custom Firmware enviroment. PSX games now work and so do legal ISO & CSO files. So quit demanding ChickHEN R3 ISO/CSO support and start downloading!
